Embark on an intimate experience through the magical world of Fernando Llort!

In our tour you'll get to know more closely the history behind the amazing story of one of the most recognised artists from El Salvador.

You'll not only hear the history but will have a hands-on experience in the workshops of El Arbol de Dios!

History, life and trajectory…

At the start of the tour you'll hear Fernando Llort’s history in detail. How and why he started a career as an artist; how he ended up in La Palma and started the artisan movement there. What was the motivation and inspiration for his art. You'll also hear about his many accomplishments, prizes and where you can find his art around the world.

By the end of this first part of the tour you'll know a bit more about the rich history behind Fernando LLort and how his art came about.

Ceramic Workshop…

Our next stage will be getting close to what happens inside El Arbol de Dios’ workshops, starting with ceramic.

In here we'll get to know how the whole process works, from the inception of the design all the way through to how the final product is created.

We'll learn about moulds, clay, pottery baking and painting!

You might even get to paint a piece yourself!

Serigraphy Workshop…

After ceramic, we’ll dive into the world of serigraphy printing.

In here, we'll get to know the process of creating t-shirts; printing the fabric that will be used for textile products like bags, shoes, etc.; making limited series of serigraphs; and many other uses of the serigraphy process.

It’ll be a hands-on experience as well and you might get a chance to try it yourself!

Gallery and Shop…

On our final stage you'll get to see all our finished products in the gallery and shop and, of course, you will be able to ask as many questions as you like and our staff will be more than happy to help you!
